Day 9

Tonight we had a much needed date night.

Grammy came and watched the kids.  Jack was very into the book she brought with her. Apparently, there was a picture of an airplane in it and he spent 15 minutes flipping through the book looking for it and any others that may appear.

We got to go to our favorite Italian restaurant and to Barnes and Noble for a coffee and some magazine perusing. It was a happy night!

Day 8

Ella currently can roll over and touch her toes.

I'm not sure if we will have another replay of this!

She also sucks on her lower lip. It is pretty cute, don't you think?!

And she has been making her Mom happy lately with her good sleeping at night.

We love her sweetness. ♥

Day 7

My Little Helper

We make a big batch of granola every other week and Jack is always right there beside me.

He loves to dig in the ingredients and eat as much as I will allow.

I realized our smaller containers needed to be filled up again and since he is so good at transferring I gave him the job. He did great!

I counted maybe 10 pieces on the floor and by the time I came to clean them up he had already grabbed them and was making "ice cream" with them complete with a loud motorized sound.

At this rate, how soon do you think it will be before he can make the whole recipe, minus the actual cooking?!

Day 6

Sweet Siblings ♥

I just barely captured this shot.  You can tell because Jack's hand is a blur.

Ella has turned into quite the wiggle worm too.

It is nice to see them both pausing and looking at each other.

It really is my prayer that they become wonderful friends.

Day 5

Jack likes to wear his Dad's new hearing protection
but
not as much as his fire hat that these came in!

Day 4

Finding joy ( and color) in the mess!
Jack has an obsession with dumping out his little baskets and containers of organized toys before he can play with the contents.
The trouble is his ability to play with any one thing before the next toy catches his attention.
I think it takes 3 minutes. Exactly. I could be wrong but, I doubt it.
So, animals, metal vehicles, bells and yes, pom-poms get strewn around my living room until I can't take it anymore!  I know, it is age appropriate but a little heart pumping for a person who likes organization.

At least, he knows how to clean up.  A good skill to know for sure.

Baby girl was trying to eat those pom-poms so this didn't last long.  Jack got a kick out of the fact that all those fuzzy balls were sticking to her when I picked her up.  It was giggle worthy I have to admit!

Day 3

We really like tea time around here.  Otherwise, known as snack time to some.
Dad has a passion for Earl Grey. Jack and I had blueberry with milk & honey today.
Ella just watched.
Jack is a nut fan but this was his first time having a pistachio. He popped the whole thing, shell and all, in his mouth and said "mmm, like it"!
Fun family time ♥
