Tub & Potty Time

Jack got some monkey bubble wands in his stocking this Christmas.  We had fun playing with them the other day.  It makes huge bubbles and my little monkey has so much fun trying to catch and pop them!

 "Awww Mom, why?!"

"Alright...I will play along!"

Jack has also been potty training and doing a great job!  I'm not sure why I wanted to tackle this with a newborn but I'm glad I did.  I'm really looking forward to only 1 baby in cloth diapers!

Look at all of those stickers!
Good job buddy!

Ella is 1 Month Old!

We made it to 1 month!  Ella has been a bit fussy and usually needs help falling asleep.  I can't believe I already forgot Jack at this stage (I must have blocked it out!) but the more I think of it he was fussy too just not as bad. From what I read most babies are like this at least until 6 weeks and then hopefully start to get better.  As long as I get her to start sleeping through the night earlier than Jack I will be happy.  :-)

She has started to smile and coo at us which of course makes us happy!

Sweet smile!

Here she is looking at Jack...

he makes her smile too!

This is what makes Jack smile!
Our landlord has the Bobcat ready for plowing the snow.  Jack will be ecstatic to watch it in action!

One of Jack's favorite things to do is read "maz-a-geens" with us!

These Moments

This boy LOVES his "weh-goos"!

A baby with a hood and bare toes makes me smile!
The kids and I building train tracks.
Actually, Jack is scooping up the tracks with his new metal beach shovel (he loves it Mom!).

Still getting used to life with 2!

Christmas 2011

Christmas seemed to sneak up on us this year.  Probably, because we had a baby 5 days before!  Thankfully, the presents were wrapped ahead of time.  Seth made us a delicious breakfast and we kept the rest of the meals low key. Actually, the whole day was low key and we just enjoyed our new family of four.  Jack really grasped the concept of opening gifts this year and he liked helping everyone else open theirs too.  His favorite gift this year was his dump truck and front-end loader with his cooking set as a close second.

The cloth bags worked out really well this year.

The bus was another favorite gift.

He has been cooking a lot with his new set.  He seems to like to make soup and popcorn. :-)

We spent the day after Christmas with Seth's parents, Grandpa and his brother's family.

My parents got the kids their own nativity.
