This Moment ~ Hard Working Boy

During a recent visit to Seth's parent's house, Grammy thought Jack would like a ride in the wheelbarrow. Well, that was a little too wild for Jack.

He had other things in mind.

He wanted to push it around by himself, up and down the hill in the hot sun.
That is how Jack operates.
He plays hard and he works hard!

7 Months!

Ella is 7 months!

She has just started to be able to sit up by herself for longer stretches of time.  She still gets excited and topples over sometimes but there has been definite improvement. She also has become more interested in solid foods. She really enjoys bananas and avocados!  Seth and my Mom both noticed that she says, "Ella, Ella" which is very cute!  She has no teeth yet but her mood (at times) is suggesting that they are not too far away. :-)

This expression makes me smile every time!

"Hey Mom, are we about done?  I think I hear a banana calling my name!"

Jack is never too far away and had to love on her a bit.
She is so tolerant!

"Yes!  This is what I am talking about!"

Happy 7 Months, Ella- Ella!

A Summer Visit

My mom came and stayed with us this week while Seth was in Kentucky for work.  I am so thankful she could come.  It really made the time fly (a little too fast) and we even got to make a few fun things for Ella's 1st birthday.  I will share those projects in another post but here are a some photos from our week (I seem to be lacking in Ella photos but she turned 7 months today so, that post will be soon)...

My Mom got the kids a little pool and Jack had a blast!

My Mom brought a bag of balloons and Jack would laugh uncontrollably while she blew them up and let the air out of them!

I love his expression here!

Letting the air out in his face...hysterical!

By the second night, Jack wanted his Gammy to read him his bedtime book and pray with him every night.  They had lots of fun together this week. :-)

We had a great week full of precious memories!
