Valentine's Sweeties

He loves kissing his little sister!

Ella in her tutu...

and this is how Jack wears a tutu!

I {heart} her!

Here are the kid's current love lists.

Jack

1. Books, books and more books
2. Trucks, trains, tractors, emergency vehicles, pretty much anything that has wheels!
3. Curious George (We have been reading a story every day for weeks!)
4. Talking
5. Playing outside

Packing peanuts make a great winter toy!

Ella

1. Eating
2. Cooing
3. Sleeping
4. Smiling
5. Her new lambskin! I have wanted one since Jack was a baby but didn't think I could afford one.  That is until my midwife told me she gets them from Ebay and I won one for a steal!

Soft and cozy

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Day

When Jack sings happy birthday it usually sounds more like "happy day" but that's what it is...a happy day.  Today I celebrated my 32nd birthday.  A perfect day shared with Seth and the kids. We shopped, we ate some of my favorite foods and the weather was beautiful. I am so blessed.

A family picture using the timer...not bad...

Of course, Ella was trying to show us something but we did our best to ignore her! :-)

My sweet girl all tuckered out at 4:30.
Seriously, her new bedtime is between 5-6pm!

Jack really enjoyed his piece of cheesecake.
Now, with the kids in bed it is our turn for a piece and a few presents!

Diggers not Groundhogs

Happy Groundhog Day! I haven't heard, are we having 6 more weeks of winter?

Well, we have had some beautiful weather lately and we decided to take some time to enjoy it.  Our boy loves the park so we headed to the Kids Castle.  It really is an amazing playground...see!

I wonder how it feels to be so small while looking at this?

We started out on the boat (steering wheels + Jack = true love) and then headed over to the bull.

Well, as you can see Jack became distracted.  I asked him to give me a "Woohoo! Ride 'em cowboy!" and he stuck his little fist in the air and gave me a half-hearted "woohoo".  The playground took a backseat the second the front end skid loader showed up!  The rest of the time was spent finding the best spot to watch him work! He is all boy.  Which is good but I do look forward to the day of girl play.  I saw the cutest little girl daintily running around the park...in her tutu!  One day Ella, one day.

In the end, we ended up back at the boat.  The perfect place to soak it all in!
