A little motivation

These last 3 months have been amazing! We have enjoyed getting to know this little member of our family. So much so that I haven't been doing much but feeding and cuddling with the little guy! However, with company coming this house needed some sprucing up. Nothing motivates me more to clean all the corners of my home quite like visitors! With that said, I scrubbed away and realized it is not quite as easy with a baby to entertain, feed, clean, etc. but I think we are ready! Due to sickness, sadly our friends couldn't come to lunch...feel better Joe and Sarah!  But at least, we are ready for my Mom, Kari and Audree to come next weekend! It should be crazy lots of fun with 2 babies in my little townhouse as we try to do our annual craft! Can't wait to see you!

3 Months!

Jack turned 3 months on Friday. Sorry I didn't realize my flash reflected off the star and covered up the 3! We did his stats at home.

Height- 25"
Weight- 13 lbs.
Head- 16"

He is starting to grab onto things that interest him. He loves his ABC soft toy that hangs near the changing table. He used to stare and talk to us but now he only has eyes for the ABC's! Thanks Great Grampa and Gramma Luerssen!

He also is laughing and "talking" to us a lot now! It is funny to watch what tickles his funny bone!

He is sleeping pretty good now. He still wakes up 2 times a night for short feedings. However, he is going through a growth spurt right now. He thrilled me when he slept a 6 hour stretch one night! That was quickly followed by 3 straight nights of waking up every 2 hours to eat! I am praying his night time hunger subsides soon and he decides sleeping through the night is wonderful!

Snowed in

Well the 2009-2010 winter has been a wild one here! You know it is bad when you are creeping closer to Syracuse's snowfall totals (just kidding, I think...)! We are used to inches of ice not feet of snow :-) So, to say the least they have had a hard time keeping up with the storm's fury on the roads.

 

Oh the shoveling!

Seth had to work nights in this crazy mess. So, Jack and I had to stay busy together. We had fun "talking" to each other, playing and of course eating! I also stayed busy reading, crafting, doing laundry (cloth diapers aren't going to wash themselves!) and don't forget shoveling!
