Jack at 6 months. He wanted to eat the star!
Jack is officially 1/2 of a year old! We took him for his 6 month appointment today. He is right on target developmentally. It was the first time he didn't cry in the doctor's office. He even laughed when the nurse rubbed her hands together to get them warm :-) So, as it turns out I unintentionally lied in his 5 month post about his weight. Oops! Our scale seems to be off (which is good for me!) and he weighs 15lbs. right now. He is 26 1/4 in. long so he is still long and skinny! He also is quite active and the doctor kept asking him why he likes to do kung-fu so much! :-)
Jack has also started some solid foods! We gave him some banana and then some avocado and he loved them both! He is also working on drinking water from his sippy cup that some friends gave us. This new food adventure sure is fun to watch!
This is a neat little net that you just dump food in and he sucks on it!
Yum!
The best news is that Jack has decided that sleeping through the night is a great idea! He is still working on his teeth so I expect that may disturb him at night at some point. But for the most part he is turning into a great sleeper!
Laughing at his Dad!
I can tell it must be warm there by Jack's clothes-he looks so cute! He seems pretty happy about that food you gave him. Glad the Dr. Appt. Went well.
